I am worried about my data and the transfer to a new providerThis is quite a common concern and one that we make sure our clients feel comfortable on. We identify where all your data is and how much it is and we document everything. Hopefully your current IT provider is storing all of your data in your own systems such as SharePoint and Microsoft 365. If this is the case then the data doesnt need to be migrated, its just a change of us as a support provider. If however, the current IT Provider is holding servers or data for you, then we will plan an orderly migration of the affected systems to us - making sure that you have no down time and are not affected because of the change.

What security do I need for my ITEvery IT provider will have their own security solution. Because we are Cyber Essentials certified and have achieved our Cyber Advisor status, we require all of our clients to have our security solution in place. In general, its important to have the following in place: A really good Antivirus and Anti-malware solution A tool to filter the web pages that you and your staff visit, making sure that any malware is blocked. An enterprise VPN solution for when you have team members on the road or out of the office. Free and home based solutions like Express VPN are not suitable. And then an exceptionally strong Email spam solution. This one is key, as it helps stop phishing and fraudulent emails from landing up in your staff inboxes to be clicked and potentially kick off malicious threats in the business.
